Documents needed for Hong Kong repatriation
To proceed with the repatriation of the deceased, the following documentation is required:
- Completing our online Repatriation Documents forms lets us take the deceased into our care.
- The deceased’s original passport from their country of birth.
- Appointment of a receiving agent or funeral director in Hong Kong.
- The Hong Kong Port Health Division may also require an original/certified copy and photocopy of the Death Certificate, Medical Certificate of the Cause of Death, and embalming certificate.
Bellrae staff are available to assist you in gathering these documents and can provide support at our office or in the comfort of your home.
Please note that you must organise a receiving agent in your country for all repatriations from Perth.
