Documents needed for Fiji repatriation
To begin repatriation from Perth to Fiji, the following documents are required:
- Completion of our online forms under Repatriation Documents. Once received, we can take your loved one into our care.
- The deceased’s original passport from their country of birth.
- A copy of the Death Certificate and Medical Certificate of Cause of Death.
- A copy of the embalming certificate.
- Appointment of a receiving agent or funeral director in Fiji.

Please note that additional transit fees of up to $345 FJD may apply, submitted to Fiji’s Ministry of Health & Medical Services as part of the application process.
The professional fee cost is $4,400.
This includes liaising with the family/Administrator and with the provider for the following: Doctors, coroners, Department of Health for the procurement of required documentation. We also liaise with the receiving agent or funeral director.
Additionally, we provide coordination of freight services from Perth to any major international airport.

We arrange flights to the most appropriate airport in Fiji, considering the final resting place of your loved one and the family's preferences. As we cannot fly into every airport, please expect a delay if road transport is necessary. This can be organised through your receiving agent.
