Documents needed for repatriation to Bosnia and Herzegovina
To proceed with the repatriation of the deceased, the following documents are required:
- Completion and submission of our online forms found under Repatriation Documents enables us to take the deceased into our care.
- The deceased’s original passport from their country of birth.
- The Bosnia embassy requires more documentation for the Funeral Certificate including a ‘Request for Transfer to Bosnia and Herzegovina’, and one of the following; ‘Request for transfer to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’, ‘Request for transfer to the Republic of Srpska’ or ‘Request for transfer to Brčko District BiH.
- Appointment of a receiving agent or funeral director in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Please note that you will need to organise a receiving agent in your country for all repatriations from Perth.
