Documents needed for Vietnam repatriation

To proceed with the repatriation of the deceased, the following documents are required:

Completing and submitting our online forms found under Repatriation Documents enables us to take the deceased into our care.
The deceased’s original passport from their country of birth.
Appointment of a receiving agent or funeral director in Vietnam.
Additional application forms, including the Permit for Repatriation of Deceased Vietnamese’s Remains and Bodies.

Bellrae staff can help you gather these documents and provide support at our office or in the comfort of your home.

Please note that a receiving agent in Vietnam must be arranged for all repatriations from Perth.

We will provide flight details for family members to book should they wish to accompany the deceased on their final journey.

We arrange flights to the most appropriate airport in Vietnam, considering the final resting place of your loved one and the family's preferences. As we cannot fly into every airport, please expect a delay if road transport is necessary. This can be organised through your receiving agent.
