Repatriation documents
An original Passport from the country of birth will be required for the flight Receiving agent/ Funeral director must be appointed.
Bellrae staff are happy to accommodate you in any way we can. If you are unsure of the process or need someone to speak with for clarity, then you can come to our office or we can come to your home.
If you would like to travel home on the same flight, then we can assist in coordinating this with you.
Repatriations take time to put all information in place and procure all the required documentation, which allows the deceased to travel. We like to allow a minimum of 10 days from the time the deceased comes into our care. Once in our care, we can begin the paperwork, Flights can be tentatively booked once we have spoken with the consulate and have a time frame for receiving their documentation, keeping in mind we need to have all our local paperwork sourced to forward to the consulate first.
